It was about Hmong Vietnam in the North West, who follow communist
revolution and anti Hmong "high class":
The story began at the end of the French colonial time, til after The
August Revolution in 1945 in North Vietnam.
Two main characters are A Phu and Mi, a poor Hmong couple. They were
ruled by Pa Tra, the village Hmong leader who co-operate with the
French, dispoiled the Hmong people in Vietnam and Laos. He took Mim home to force her being his
son's 2nd wife, and captured APhu to work for him for life.
Mi and A Phu escaped together and got married laterly.
"with the leading of Communist Party", the couple had finally live in
happiness...."
All the main actors and actress are Vietnamese, others cast are
Vietnamese + Hmong.
